Why take our Chinese language course?
Chinese is a useful language to have. Some people choose to learn Chinese to have better careers, while others learn it to have a better chance in profiting as the global economy grows. Some Olympic enthusiasts are also learning Chinese in preparation for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Still others learn Chinese for travel, studying, learning the culture, etc. In general, everyone has a legitimate reason.
Do you teach Mandarin (普通话)?
Yes. Almost everyone in mainland China speaks Mandarin, making it very useful to learn when visiting China.
Do you teach Simplified Chinese Characters or Traditional Chinese Characters?
We teach Simplified Chinese Characters. Traditional Chinese Characters can be taught individually upon request, but it’s not encouraged.
How do I Read Chinese Characters on Your Site?
When using Windows, you can choose Chinese as one of the languages through Control Panel. For a more detailed version, please click here. (Tutorial coming soon)
Do you have other advice for us?
When learning a language, determination and constant repetition is important. To enforce what you have learned, it would be ideal to find another class or a private tutor. As long as you have a textbook, a tutor, and a determination to learn, the language will soon be yours.
