About Intermediate 2:

Intermediate-2 in our J & J Chinese School is designed for students whose native language is not Chinese. This small group class started in the summer of 2006.  Students meet twice a week (Wed 5:00-6:30 pm, Sat 4:30-6:00 pm). They have completed 汉语拼音, 暨南中文 Book 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 and iChinese Book 1 and Book 2. They have learned about 1000 Chinese characters and 20 lessons of conversation.

Currently, they are learning 暨南中文 Book 6, plus iChinese Book 3 and Conversational Chinese 301. By the end of spring 2010, they will complete 暨南中文第五册和部分第六册（Zhongwen Book 5 & part of Book 6）and iChinese Books 1-3.

So far there are 3 students in this small group class. Three seats are available if you are willing to join this group at this level. Students for placement need to take an entry test. Please contact Dr. Xiang at writechinese@yahoo.com for more details.
